Job summary

  • Maintain clean, safe work environment and comply with quality and regulatory standards.

How you’ll make an impact in this role
  • Perform routine and complex cardiac ultrasound procedures to assess heart structures and hemodynamics in accordance with established clinical protocols.

  • Set up imaging equipment, adjust technical parameters, and manually maneuver transducers while correctly positioning patients for optimal visualization.

  • Recognize normal anatomy, cardiac pathology, and equipment limitations while ensuring prompt, accurate submission of high-quality images and patient data to PACS.

  • Maintain a clean, safe work environment and uphold strict quality control, patient safety, and regulatory compliance standards across the department.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

  • One or more of the following required:

  • Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

  • Cardiac Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date.

  • Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

  • Sonography Tech specializing in Cardiac credentialed from the Cardiovascular CredentialingInternational (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate'sdegree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
