Responsibilities
  • Imaging & Technical Execution: Accurately position patients and select optimal exposure factors and anatomic parameters to produce high-quality diagnostic images.

  • Patient Safety & Medication: Administer contrast media and medications within legal scope while strictly adhering to radiation safety protocols to prevent unnecessary exposure.

  • Clinical Monitoring & Quality Control: Observe patients for abnormal activity during procedures and ensure the prompt submission of verified images and data to PACS.

  • Equipment & Lab Management: Monitor equipment functionality, execute lock/tag-out safety procedures for malfunctions, and maintain a clean, orderly clinical environment.

Requirements

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

  • One or more of the following required:

  • Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. General Radiography is also required in addition to any specialty. State Radiology Technologist licensure issued by Wisconsin Radiography Examining Board required.

  • Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
