Job summary

Ascension St. Joseph Hospital Milwaukee is seeking an Imaging professional to perform radiologic imaging procedures and ensure high-quality diagnostic images. You will position patients, administer contrast within scope, and report abnormalities while maintaining a safe imaging environment.

The role requires ARRT/CCI/ARRT credentials, Wisconsin licensure, and BLS within 30 days. A strong focus on patient care and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• Licensure/certification requirements including BLS within 30 days of hire.
• Cardiographic Radiologic Tech or ARRT Radiography credentials required.
• Wisconsin Radiology licensure required.

Responsibilities

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Perform radiologic imaging procedures, ensuring accurate patient positioning and quality diagnostic images.
• Administer contrast media within scope of practice while monitoring patients and reporting abnormalities.
• Follow radiation safety standards and ensure accurate image submission to PACS.
• Maintain equipment functionality and a clean, safe imaging environment.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• One or more of the following required:
• Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• General Radiography is also required in addition to any specialty.
• State Radiology Technologist licensure issued by Wisconsin Radiography Examining Board required.
• Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  

Education

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
