Job summary

St. Luke’s Hospital in Missouri seeks a qualified Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to perform diagnostic ultrasound exams and provide clinically relevant information to assist the physician with diagnosis and treatment.

The role requires managing all assigned supplies and equipment on the unit and promoting teamwork with the healthcare team, aligning with our mission and values.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Sonographer Program.
• Licensure: ARDMS or ARRT(S) certification in Missouri within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic ultrasound exams and provides clinically relevant information to assist the physician with diagnosis and treatment.
• Manages all assigned supplies and equipment on the unit.
• Promotes teamwork with all members of the healthcare team.

Position Summary:

Reporting to the Chief Technologist - Ultrasound, performs diagnostic ultrasound exams and provides clinically relevant information to assist the physician with the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Responsible for managing all assigned supplies and equipment on the unit. Responsible for promoting teamwork with all members of the healthcare team. Performs duties in a manner consistent with St. Luke’s mission and values.

Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements:

Education: Graduate of an accredited Sonographer Program

Licensure: Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)(S) in the state of Missouri within 6 months of hire
