Job summary

St. Luke’s Health System in Fruitland, Idaho seeks an ultrasound technologist to perform 8–10 general ultrasound and OB exams daily. The role requires ARDMS/ARRT certifications and a current BLS credential.

Shifts flex/PRN within 8:00am–10:00pm (Mon–Fri) and 8:00am–8:00pm (Sat–Sun); on-call duties include holidays with lower call-back rates. This facility emphasizes patient-centered care and teamwork. Candidates should hold an associate degree or equivalent experience and be able to collaborate

Qualifications

• Education: Associate degree or experience in lieu of degree.
• Must have current certification in Abdomen (RDMS-AB), Breast (RDMS-BR), OBGYN (RDMS-OBGYN) from ARDMS or Sonography (ARRT-S) from ARRT.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider certification from ASHI, AHA, or Red Cross.

Responsibilities

• Perform 8–10 ultrasound exams per day, including general and OB.
• Support scheduling needs with flex/PRN shifts and cover operational hours.
• On-call requirements: variable, typically including holidays with lower call-back rates.

• Education: Associate degree or experience in lieu of degree
• Licenses/Certifications: Must have current certification in one of the following areas:
  • Abdomen (RDMS-AB)
  • Breast (RDMS-BR)
  • OBGYN (RDMS-OBGYN) from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Sonography (ARRT-S) from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross.
