Job summary

St. Luke’s Hospital in Missouri seeks a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) / Registered Cardiac Sonographer (CCI) to perform ASE-guided echocardiography and Doppler analysis in an IAC-accredited facility.

You will manage unit supplies and equipment, and collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care consistent with our mission.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited Cardiac Sonographer Program.
• Current licensure as RDCS or CCI within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform ASE-guided recordings and Doppler analysis of the heart.
• Manage all assigned supplies and equipment on the unit.
• Promote teamwork with all members of the healthcare team.

Position Summary:

The Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS)/Registered Cardiac Sonographer (CCI) specializes in using non-invasive equipment to perform ASE-guided ultrasonic recordings and doppler flow analysis of the heart/related structures, in an IAC (Intersocietal Accreditation Commission) accredited facility, to aid in the diagnosis of and treatment of cardiac diseases. Responsible for being well versed in defects and diseases of the heart and know how to clinically apply echocardiography to detect those diseases/defects. Responsible for managing all assigned supplies and equipment on the unit. Responsible for promoting teamwork with all members of the healthcare team. Performs duties in a manner consistent with St. Luke’s mission and values.

Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements:

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent, Graduate of an accredited Cardiac Sonographer Program

License: Current licensure as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (ARDMS) or as a Registered Cardiac Sonographer (CCI) in the state of Missouri within 6 months of hire
