St. Luke’s Hospital in Missouri seeks a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) / Registered Cardiac Sonographer (CCI) to perform ASE-guided echocardiography and Doppler analyses in an IAC-accredited facility.

You will apply echocardiography to diagnose cardiac diseases and support the healthcare team. Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and graduation from an accredited Cardiac Sonographer Program; licensure as RDCS or CCI in Missouri within 6 months of

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; graduate of an accredited Cardiac Sonographer Program.
• Licensure: ARDMS RDCS or CCI in Missouri within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform ASE-guided echocardiography and Doppler flow analyses of the heart and related structures.
• Be versed in defects and diseases of the heart and clinically apply echocardiography to detect them.
• Promote teamwork with all members of the healthcare team and manage unit supplies/equipment.

Position Summary

The Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS)/Registered Cardiac Sonographer (CCI) specializes in using non-invasive equipment to perform ASE-guided ultrasonic recordings and doppler flow analysis of the heart/related structures, in an IAC (Intersocietal Accreditation Commission) accredited facility, to aid in the diagnosis of and treatment of cardiac diseases. Responsible for be ing well versed in defects and diseases of the heart and know how to clinically apply echocardiography to detect those diseases/defects. Responsible for managing all assigned supplies and equipment on the unit. Responsible for promoting teamwork with all members of the healthcare team. Performs duties in a manner consistent with St. Luke’s mission and values.

Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent , Graduate of an accredited Cardiac Sonographer Program

Licensure: Current licensure as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonogrpaher (ARDMS) or as a Register e d Cardiac Sonographer (CCI) in the state of Missouri within 6 months of hire
