Job summary

VIP Medical Group in Fort Washington, PA is seeking a Sonographer to perform diagnostic venous duplex ultrasound scans, pre- and post-procedure assessments, and patient intake in a fast-paced clinical setting.

The role requires an Associate degree in Medical Sonography, certification as a Medical Sonographer, and at least one year of related experience; RVT/RVS is preferred. EMR skills and strong teamwork are essential. Competitive pay and benefits available.

Qualifications

  • Associates degree in Medical Sonography.
  • Minimum of one year of experience as a Medical Sonography.
  • EMR systems.
  • Lower extremity/ vascular preferred.
  • Certification: Certified Medical Sonographer.
  • RVT or RVS preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic venous duplex ultrasound scans, rule out DVT scans, and post procedure scans.
  • Prepare exam room and ultrasound equipment to conduct sonography exams in accordance with patient safety protocols, policies, and procedures.
  • Medical intakes.
  • Enter medical notes in our EMR system.
  • Use sterile technique for procedure set up and prep patients for procedures.
  • Assist during procedures.
  • Maintain patient privacy in accordance with HIPAA.
  • Properly care for Ultrasound equipment and notifies the office if there are any issues.
  • Establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with co-workers and members of the health care team.

37 - 45 USD per hour(Fort Washington, PA)
