Job summary

VIP Medical Group is seeking a Float Sonographer to join our Brooklyn, NY team. You will perform diagnostic venous duplex ultrasound scans, assist in procedures, and document patient information in our EMR while upholding HIPAA and safety standards.

The role requires an Associates degree in Medical Sonography, certification as a Medical Sonographer, and at least one year of experience, with RVT/RVS preferred. Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience as a Medical Sonographer.
• Certification: Certified Medical Sonographer.
• RVT or RVS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic venous duplex ultrasound scans, rule out DVT scans, and post procedure scans.
• Prepare exam room and ultrasound equipment to conduct sonography exams in accordance with patient safety protocols, policies, and procedures.
• Medical intakes.
• Enter medical notes in our EMR system.
• Use sterile technique for procedure set up and prep patients for procedures.
• Maintain patient privacy in accordance with HIPAA.
• Properly care for Ultrasound equipment and notify the office if there are any issues.
• Establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with co-workers and members of the health care team.

The pay range for this role is:

37 - 45 USD per hour(NY1002_Midtown)
