Job summary

Stripe is seeking a Manager of the Technical Solutions Engineering team to lead and grow our group responsible for developer success across Stripe’s platform. You’ll shape strategy and mentor engineers to deliver great developer experiences.

You’ll oversee day-to-day operations, recruit and coach engineers, and partner with product and engineering teams to empower our largest users. The role requires collaboration with APAC and US leadership with Pacific Time overlap, and is based in California.

Qualifications

• Experience leading, managing and developing user-facing engineering teams.
• Background in software development in one or more programming languages.
• Ability to collaborate with APAC partners and US leadership with meaningful overlap.

Responsibilities

• Define and deliver a comprehensive technical solution engineering experience for developers and complex users integrating Stripe.
• Develop long-term vision and day-to-day operations for the TSE team, and manage cross-functional collaboration.
• Build relationships across Stripe to improve developer experience and align with overall goals.
• Lead cross-functionally to make Stripe’s developer experience more self-serve and impactful.
• Recruit, coach, and develop user-facing engineers; promote career growth within the team.
• Define, implement, and monitor metrics to ensure quality and future sustainability of developer support.
