Job summary

Skydio is seeking an experienced Solutions Engineering leader to build and lead a national Solutions Engineering function for Corrections and Campus Security. This remote role requires ~30% travel and reports to the Director, Solutions Engineering – SLED.

You will hire, onboard, coach, and retain a team, set the bar for technical quality, and own the technical win across two distinct problem sets. Collaboration with Sales, Engineering, and Product is critical to drive deal progression and

• Experience leading a technical team, including hiring and mentoring.
• Strong understanding of drone technology and public safety sUAS operations.
• Ability to work within a sales organization and own quota or contribute to deal strategy.

Responsibilities

• Build and scale a new Solutions Engineering function for Corrections and Campus Security.
• Lead, onboard, coach, and retain the team across national coverage.
• Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, and Product to ensure deployments and customer success.
• Own technical win across corrections and campus security nationally.
• Develop enablement content, reference architectures, and reusable assets.
