Job summary

Source 1 Solutions is seeking a Technical Solutions Engineer to bridge technical expertise with commercial delivery. You will collaborate with Inside Sales, engineering, and project teams to scope, design, and present scalable IT solutions that meet client goals.

The role begins onsite for 90 days, then transitions to a hybrid on-site/remote arrangement. You will help prepare proposals, validate configurations, and guide customers through technical discussions to successful implementation.

Qualifications

Minimum 4 years in a technical, engineering, or support role.
Strong working knowledge of Source 1’s core services: Service Desk, Infra & Network, Backup & Recovery, Cyber Security.
Translate technical details into clear, customer-focused language.
Excellent communication and documentation skills; precision matters.
Detail-oriented with accurate scoping, quoting, and validation.
Experience delivering critical projects for current clients.

Responsibilities

Partner with Inside Sales to define and validate customer requirements.
Design and document solutions across Managed IT, Infrastructure, Network, Cyber Security, and Cloud.
Build quotes and proposals in Quosal; ensure technical and commercial alignment.
Utilize NetSuite to track parts and update clients on status.
Present designs in customer calls or presentations; address questions.
Handle ad-hoc technical queries through proposal, negotiation, and implementation stages.
Collaborate with Delivery and Engineering for scope accuracy and handover to service activation.
Maintain knowledge of Source 1 services, pricing models, and differentiators.
Support continuous improvement by refining quoting tools and content.
