Loch Harbour Group in Fairfax, VA is seeking a Solutions Engineer to support the sales team by developing compelling RFIs and RFP responses. You will work with SMEs to gather content, tailor proposals to client needs, and ensure government compliance.

The role requires IT/software knowledge, strong written communication, and the ability to coordinate multiple projects with tight deadlines at a federal-facing organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, English with IT minor, or equivalent and 3 years of experience.
• Strong understanding of information technology and systems engineering trends.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word with Styles and formatting expertise.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and format comprehensive responses to RFIs and RFPs.
• Collaborate with SMEs to gather information and insights.
• Tailor proposals to meet client requirements and highlight strengths.
• Ensure company responses comply with government requirements.
• Follow ITIL, CMMI, ISO, IEEE frameworks where applicable.
• Schedule and manage proposal deadlines and ensure quality deliverables.
