Loch Harbour Group in Fairfax, VA is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect for a part-time, high-impact role. Expect ~20 hours/week with surge capacity during active capture and proposal cycles, onsite at our Fairfax, VA office.

Proficiency with AI tools to accelerate solution development is encouraged. You will lead rapid solutioning for government contracts, draft compelling proposals, and coordinate with BD and Proposal teams to win programs while ensuring compliance with FAR/DFARS

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field and 8–10+ years in solution architecture or DoD contracting.
• Experience leading proposals, compliance, and win strategies for government programs.
• Knowledge of FAR/DFARS requirements and government contracting practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of innovative solutions for major capture and proposal efforts; balance cost, schedule, function and quality.
• Create technical solutions aligned with client needs and proposal efforts for government contracts.
• Write detailed proposals, compliance matrices, technical approaches and past performance.
• Develop white papers, proposals and briefings to demonstrate technical thought leadership.
• Support capture strategy with technical leadership and discriminating value propositions.
• Assist integration across multiple accounts within DoD and Civilian markets.
• Translate customer requirements and RFP language into compliant solution approaches.
• Partner with Proposal Management to meet outline and page-count constraints; respond to color team findings.
• Support Basis of Estimate development: labor, skill mix, LOE and cost assumptions.
• Maintain reusable solution content for content library: boilerplate and narratives.
