Job summary
Eastern Communications, Ltd. is seeking a Staff Solutions Engineer to provide technical pre‑sales support for Public Safety, Industrial, Transportation, and Utility markets.
You will work with Dealer Channel partners to craft winning technical strategies and deliver industry‑leading communications solutions. The candidate combines deep engineering expertise with strong customer engagement, translating complex concepts into practical designs and solutions while staying current with evolving
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years in a pre‑sales or system engineering role.
- Proven experience providing customer‑facing technical pre‑sales support, solution design, and engineering consultation through direct customer and Dealer engagements.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Regional Channel Managers to develop technical sales strategies.
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor throughout the sales cycle.
- Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and solution workshops to drive sales enablement.
- Develop quotations, BOMs, system drawings, and technical documentation.
