Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or computer engineering.
• 5+ years in land mobile radio system sales or solutions engineering.
• Experience with RFP responses and system design.
• Familiarity with RF modeling tools (EDX/ATDI) and mobile networks.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate opportunities for fit, feasibility, commercial viability, resources, competition and success likelihood.
• Partner with Regional Sales Managers on customer discovery, technical meetings, presentations, and solution demonstrations.
• Lead preliminary system design, coverage analysis, RF planning, site selection, and simulcast design and optimization.
• Prepare technical content for tenders, proposals, and RFP responses, including matrices, system descriptions, equipment lists and drawings.
• Design integrated solutions using Tait and third-party products, coordinating with engineering specialists to confirm interfaces, functionality and schedules.
• Translate customer needs into project requirements, deliverables, milestones and handover documentation.
• Take ownership of opportunities through order receipt and smooth handover to delivery team.
• Educate customers and channel partners on solution capabilities and business opportunities.
• Provide post-sales technical support and market insights to stay competitive.
• Promote a collaborative, compliant, and improvement-focused culture.
