We are seeking a Staff Solutions Engineer to provide technical pre-sales support on radio communications system opportunities for Public Safety, Industrial, Transportation and Utility markets. This Staff Solutions Engineer will partner with Regional Channel Managers to develop winning technical strategies, deliver industry-leading solutions, and serve as the trusted technical advisor
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years in a pre-sales or system engineering role.
- Proven experience providing customer-facing technical pre-sales support and engineering consultation.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio).
Responsibilities
- Develop technical sales strategies with Regional Channel Managers.
- Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and solution workshops.
- Design integrated solutions using P25, DMR, LTE/FirstNet, microwave, dispatch consoles, IP networking, and related technologies.
- Provide RF propagation studies and documentation.
- Provide technical support to Dealers in responses for RFPs, ensuring compliant, competitive submissions.
