Job summary

Motorola Solutions in the United States seeks a Presales Engineer to manage presale opportunities and deploy complex projects across public safety and enterprise customers. You will define scope, coordinate with sales, and deliver end-to-end technical solutions, from bid to implementation, leveraging LMR, LTE, and CAD/dispatch capabilities.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in sales engineering in public safety, strong communication skills, and willingness to travel up to 25% across the West.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 4+ years of sales, sales engineering, public safety experience.
• Experience with Land Mobile Radio (LMR) is highly preferred.
• Ability to present complex topics to technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Work with Sales Team to deliver end-to-end solutions for customers across the country.
• Define directions and requirements to ensure timely implementation of technical solutions.
• Provide engineering services including commissioning and testing Motorola equipment.
• Prepare system bids considering customer needs and product capabilities.
• Collaborate with operations and developers to meet delivery requirements and deadlines.
