Job summary

Auror is seeking a Solutions Engineer to drive pre-sales engineering for LPR and ASR technologies in a customer-facing role. You will translate customer needs into technical solutions, design PoCs, and collaborate with Product, Sales, and Deployment teams to ensure successful deployments.

You will engage in live demonstrations, craft technical briefs, and guide customers through hardware requirements and integration paths, maintaining focus on privacy and responsible AI.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in a technical pre-sales, solutions engineering, or technical implementation role.
• Experience with facial recognition or subject recognition technology is a strong advantage.
• Ability to discuss IT infrastructure and deployment considerations.
• Structured problem-solving approach to identify root causes.
• Comfort with ambiguity and prioritising multiple concurrent opportunities.
• Commitment to privacy and ethical use of technology.
• Self-starter who improves documentation and processes.
• Understanding of retail case management software and Auror value.

Responsibilities

• Pre-Sales Engineering: join sales calls as technical SME for LPR and ASR; handle product deep-dives and objections.
• Run technical discovery sessions to understand customer environments and integration requirements.
• Produce technical documentation and implementation plans to support proposals.
• Deliver tailored demonstrations of Auror's Core product and LPR/ASR solutions to technical and non-technical audiences.
• PoC Design: design PoC scope with hardware, network conditions, and use-case alignment.
• Customer Technical Advisory: advise on system architecture, data handling, and integration pathways.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: work with Product, Customer Success, and Deployment teams; unblock objections during deals.
