Cisco is seeking Technical Sales Interns to explore a career as a Solutions Engineer, connecting people and business through technology. You will collaborate with a Professional Solutions Engineer, shadow calls, and assist with workshops and technical concept proof events.

This internship offers weekly mentorship, hands-on product exposure, and opportunities to develop knowledge resources for future intern cohorts while refining your ability to present technical concepts to customers.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in CS, Software Engineering, MIS, Business Analytics, or related technical field.
• Must continue enrollment in a degree or educational/workforce program after internship.
• Available to work 40 hours per week for 12 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Partner with a Professional Solutions Engineer as they work.
• Shadow customer calls and help with presentation development, workshops and/or technical concept proof events as the account team moves the customers towards the close of sale.
• Meet weekly with other SE Interns and mentors, and discuss what you’ve learned.
• Learn how to present technical concepts to customers and how to discover their needs.
• Collaborate with peers in developing a knowledge resource for subsequent intern cohorts.
• Polish your evangelizing technique, talking about our products and services to customers (without being pushy!)
