Job summary

Cisco Systems, Inc. is seeking Technical Sales Interns to explore a career as a Solutions Engineer, connecting people and business through technology. You will learn how to present technical concepts and discover customer needs while shadowing experienced engineers.

The internship emphasizes collaboration with a professional team, weekly mentor meetings, and hands-on exposure to the Splunk product line through observatory sessions and workshops. An onsite learning environment is provided.

Qualifications

Actively pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS, Business Analytics, or related technical field.
Expected to continue enrollment in a degree or qualifying educational program after completion of the internship.
Available to work 40 hours a week for 12 weeks.

Responsibilities

Partner with a Professional Solutions Engineer as they work.
Shadow customer calls and help with presentation development and workshops.
Meet weekly with other SE Interns and mentors.
Learn to present technical concepts to customers and discover their needs.
Collaborate with peers to develop a knowledge resource for future interns.
Polish evangelizing technique while talking about Cisco products and services to customers.
