Job summary

Cisco Systems seeks Technical Sales Interns curious about technology and people. You will work with a Professional Solutions Engineer, shadow customer calls, help with presentations, and learn to translate technical concepts for business audiences while exploring Splunk products.

You must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in a technical field and commit to 40 hours per week for 12 weeks. This internship provides hands-on exposure to cloud analytics and the customer-account team.

Qualifications

• Actively pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS, Business Analytics, or a related technical field; strong academic record.
• Available to work 40 hours per week for 12 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Shadow customer calls and help with presentation development, workshops and/or technical concept proof events as the account team moves the customers towards the close of sale.
• Meet weekly with other SE Interns and mentors, discuss learnings, and develop knowledge resources for future cohorts.
• Learn how to present technical concepts to customers and discover their needs.
• Collaborate in developing a knowledge resource for later intern cohorts.
• Polish evangelizing technique, describing our products to customers without being pushy.
