Job summary

Cisco is seeking Technical Sales Interns to explore a career as Solutions Engineers, bridging technology and business for customers. Interns will shadow Professional Solutions Engineers, help with presentations, workshops, and learn to translate complex tech into business terms while developing knowledge resources for future cohorts.

This internship offers exposure to Splunk product lines through Observatory sessions and provides mentorship, weekly reviews, and hands-on practice presenting

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in CS/Software Engineering/ MIS.
• Expected to continue enrollment in a degree or qualifying program after the internship.
• Available to work 40 hours/week for 12 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Shadow a Professional Solutions Engineer on customer calls and help with presentation development and workshops.
• Learn to translate technical concepts into business terms for customers and the account team.
• Collaborate with peers to create a knowledge resource for future intern cohorts.
• Polish evangelizing techniques and talk about Cisco products with customers (non-pushy).
• Meet weekly with SE interns and mentors to discuss learnings.

Education

Bachelor's/Master's in CS/Engineering/MIS
