Job summary

Lechler is seeking a technically skilled engineer to support multiple markets with proposal development and sales engineering. You will translate customer requirements into feasible technical solutions, coordinate with Engineering, and prepare costed proposals that meet company standards.

Responsibilities include responding to technical inquiries, assisting with marketing materials, and participating in field activities and training sessions. Some travel may be required within North America.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• 2–5 years of industry experience desirable
• Proficiency in English; reading and interpreting technical documents
• Ability to speak German or Spanish is a plus

Responsibilities

• Review and evaluate customer requirements to create technical sales proposals
• Estimate costs for proposed solutions using data and judgement
• Develop technical sales proposals aligned with Lechler standards and guidelines
• Respond to technical questions from internal and external customers
• Review purchase order contracts for accuracy against proposals
• Convey scope and project requirements to Engineering upon receiving orders
• Support marketing with technical aspects of materials and campaigns
• Deliver training and technical presentations to customers
• Assist with field measurements, nozzle performance tests, and commissioning support
• Travel within North America and abroad as needed
