Job summary

Lechler is seeking a technically skilled engineer to support multiple markets with proposal development and sales engineering. You will translate customer requirements into feasible technical solutions, coordinate with Engineering, and prepare costed proposals that meet company standards.

Responsibilities include responding to technical inquiries, assisting with marketing materials, and participating in field activities and training sessions. Some travel may be required within North America.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• 2–5 years of industry experience desirable
• Proficiency in English; reading and interpreting technical documents
• Ability to speak German or Spanish is a plus

Responsibilities

Summary:This position involves the review and evaluation of customer requirements in order to create technical sales proposals. Upon receipt of associated purchase orders, accurate scope and project requirements are conveyed to the Engineering Department to ensure the initiation of successful and profitable projects.This position focuses on supporting various markets for one of the three main business units: Industrial, Process Technology, or Metallurgical.
