Job summary

Lechler, Inc. seeks an experienced engineer to drive complex projects from design through commissioning. You will coordinate design, fabrication, testing, and installation while working with design, manufacturing, purchasing, suppliers, and customers’ engineers to resolve problems with minimal supervision.

The role requires developing objectives, allocating resources, and maintaining schedules. Strong communication and German or Spanish language ability are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• Minimum 2–3 years of practical engineering experience in manufacturing or similar industry.
• Skid design and fabrication experience highly preferred.
• Piping and pumping systems experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop project objectives and plan with management.
• Assign resources and determine project phases and elements.
• Coordinate design, fabrication, testing and commissioning.
• Create drawings and process diagrams for automation/PLC.
• Maintain project schedule and communicate with stakeholders.
• Prepare status reports and analyze trends for action.
