Job summary

GoCardless is seeking a Solution Engineer to lead technical engagements with merchants, qualifying opportunities and shaping solutions. You will provide guidance to sales teams and collaborate with product and implementation teams to ensure success in complex deployments.

You will present demos, conduct technical discovery, and design architectural solutions for prospects while aligning with product roadmaps and customer success goals.

Qualifications

• Experience as a solution engineer in pre-sales or post-sales roles.
• Ability to explain complex technical solutions to non-technical audiences.
• Experience building integrations with Payment-Service Providers and APIs.
• Strong storytelling and client-facing presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with the sales team on new and existing opportunities.
• Present and craft demos showcasing our product.
• Perform technical discovery and architect solution designs for prospects.
• Collaborate with product teams on improvements and new initiatives.
• Coordinate with implementation and customer success teams for smooth client journeys.
