Job summary
United Systems, LLC is seeking a Solutions Engineer II to join the Professional Services Team. The role focuses on completing client IT projects and addressing escalated managed service issues, with hands-on configuration of network, server, VoIP hardware, and Microsoft 365 infrastructure.
Responsibilities include documenting activities, updating IT Glue articles, and acting as escalation support for junior staff.
Qualifications
- Advanced AD knowledge from domain controllers to user creation.
- Advanced Microsoft Windows/Server knowledge across physical and virtual environments.
- Microsoft 365 administration including user creation and licensing.
- Network troubleshooting including VLAN, DHCP, DNS, circuit issues.
Responsibilities
- Document activities and tickets daily in the ticketing system.
- Handoff in-progress tickets before shift end.
- Create/update IT Glue articles for new findings.
- Perform network/server capacity analysis and planning.
- Install/configure network, server, VoIP hardware and Microsoft 365.
- Support client infrastructure and assist junior staff.
- Build client rapport during onsite visits and troubleshooting.
