Job summary
CTERA, a provider of a unified, secure data fabric for enterprise storage across edge and cloud, seeks a Sales Engineer in Colorado with 5+ years of storage/cloud experience. You will support technical sales, design solutions, and lead POCs while traveling up to 50%.
Strong knowledge of NAS, file systems, object storage, and related protocols is required. The role emphasizes collaboration with customers and partners, hands-on demos, and documentation of technical requirements to shape product
Qualifications
- 5+ years’ experience as a Sales Engineer in storage or cloud.
- Strong presentation and technical analysis skills.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% with overnight stays.
- Experience with NAS, file systems, object storage and CIFS/SMB, NFS.
- Experience with VMware or AWS/Azure certifications.
- Networking, TCP/IP, TLS, DNS, LDAP, and SAML v2 knowledge.
- Windows Server/Desktop and Linux experience.
- Experience with enterprise backup and recovery platforms.
- Ability to edit guides and diagrams.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical and product information to customers.
- Provide technical sales support through the sales cycle.
- Build relationships with customers and partners.
- Deliver technical presentations and demos.
- Collaborate with sales to capture requirements.
- Conduct POCs with defined SOW and success criteria.
- Document product feedback for PM team.
- Process orders with support staff.
