Job summary

Rocket Software in the United States is seeking a Customer Solutions Engineer (Solutioning) to support the design, scoping, estimation, and delivery readiness of Customer Solutions Engineering (CSE) service opportunities.

Working with Sales, Delivery, Product SMEs, and PMO, you will develop service estimates, statements of work (SOWs), service offerings, and delivery approaches that support successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in project management or professional services.
• 1+ years customer-facing experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to gather requirements and document business needs.
• Experience identifying risks, assumptions, dependencies, exclusions, and gaps.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and collaboration tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop service estimates, statements of work, and pricing models for CSE engagements.
• Create and review SOWs, proposals, service descriptions, and other client-facing documentation.
• Gather requirements from customers and internal stakeholders and organize them.
• Collaborate with Sales, Delivery, Product Management, PMO, Support, and SMEs to develop quality service solutions.
• Maintain solutioning templates, estimation models, and reusable content libraries.
• Contribute lessons learned to improve estimation accuracy and solution quality.
