Job summary

Asana in New York City is seeking a driven Solutions Engineer to join a newly formed overlay team supporting Command. You will work with Account Executives, engineering leaders, and cross-functional teams to design repeatable technical plays and validate opportunities from discovery through to close.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Solutions Consulting or similar customer-facing technical roles.
• Strong understanding of engineering and product development team personas.
• Familiarity with AI coding agents and related concepts (APIs, data structures, permissions, and automation).
• Proficiency in designing and delivering product demonstrations for technical and executive audiences.

Responsibilities

• Partner with incubation Account Executive to lead technical validation from discovery to close.
• Develop deep understanding of product development workflows and map them to Command by Asana.
• Translate customer pain points into practical solution designs and business value narratives.
• Conduct technical discovery sessions, whiteboard conversations, and tailored product demonstrations.
• Advise on solution architecture, integrations, and deployment approaches.
• Partner with AEs/CSMs/SEs to uncover expansion opportunities and build scalable demo assets.
• Surface customer feedback and product gaps to inform roadmap and GTM strategy.
• Deliver enablement and best practices for the revenue organization.
