Job summary

Asana is building the Solutions Engineering overlay to support Command's go-to-market motion. Based in New York City with a hybrid in-office schedule, you will work with Account Executives and cross-functional teams to bring customer feedback to the product team and shape demos and technical positioning.

You'll lead discovery and technical validation, design scalable plays, and translate customer needs into practical solutions that showcase the value of Command to Engineering leaders and product

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Solutions Consulting, Sales Engineering, or similar customer-facing roles.
• Strong understanding of engineering and product development team personas.
• Experience with AI coding agents and related concepts (APIs, data structures, automation).
• Excellent discovery, storytelling, and demo delivery skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical validation for opportunities from discovery through proof, demo, and close.
• Develop deep understanding of product development workflows and map to our Command by Asana.
• Translate customer pain points into practical solution designs and business value.
• Conduct technical discovery sessions and tailored product demonstrations for technical and executive audiences.
• Advise on solution architecture, integrations, and deployment approaches.
• Collaborate with AEs, CSMs, Product, and other Solutions Engineers to uncover expansion opportunities.
• Build repeatable demo assets and technical collateral for scalable enablement.
• Provide customer feedback to inform roadmap and GTM strategy.
