Job summary

CaptiveAire Systems, Inc. in Philadelphia seeks an engineer to join our sales team focusing on growing business with existing customers and developing new business. This role combines applications engineering and inside sales support in a fast-paced environment.

You will receive extensive training under a mentor, gaining product knowledge and business development skills. This position offers opportunity to contribute to sales strategies and deliver kitchen ventilation solutions.

Qualifications

• 4-year technical degree in a mechanical, electrical, construction or science-oriented curriculum is preferred.
• FE exam completion within 6 months of employment with CaptiveAire is expected.
• Willingness to travel for training opportunities.
• Excellent communication/presentation skills are essential.
• Strong pursuit of customer-facing success and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Provide integrated application engineering and design support for ventilation projects.
• Collaborate with Engineers, Contractors, End Users and Food Service Dealers.
• Daily inside sales support and application engineering.
• Prepare presentations, quotes, submittals and technical product support.
• Educate and promote CaptiveAire products to customers and partners.
• Develop new business opportunities with existing and new users.
• Deliver top-notch customer service with quick turnaround times and process improvements.
