Job summary

Landis+Gyr, a global energy technology leader, seeks a Solutions Director in Alpharetta, GA to drive pre-sales and technical sales. You will translate customer needs into credible technical and business solutions, collaborate with Sales, and shape product strategy with market insights.

The role requires deep expertise in Grid Analytics, DERMS, and related energy tech, plus the ability to travel up to 50% and engage with global customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering (MBA/Masters preferred).
• Minimum of 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Utility industry experience strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with AMI, Cloud technologies, Grid Analytics, DERMS, Non-Wires Alternatives, Advanced Demand Response is a plus.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%, including internationally.

Responsibilities

• Provide solution consultation in support of Sales opportunities.
• Develop pre-sales solutions aligned with customer use cases in Analytics, DERMS, Flexibility Management, Non-Wires Alternatives, Advanced Demand Response.
• Lead technical support to help Sales close opportunities.
• Translate market requirements into actionable insights for product positioning and corporate strategy.
• Develop customer documentation: technical notes, whitepapers, presentations and reference system architecture.
