Job summary

LineVision, Inc. is seeking a Solutions Engineer to join our Solutions Engineering team and serve as a trusted technical resource for electric utility customers. You will own network-level scoping, build data-driven deliverables, and help turn grid challenges into value for clients.

In this remote role (Southeast region preferred), you will lead pre-sales engagements, present technical findings, travel to customer sites about 25%, and grow into an industry voice through IEEE/CIGRE activities.

Qualifications

• Experience translating technical analysis into business-relevant recommendations for utility stakeholders.
• Proven ability to develop and present data-driven technical deliverables.
• Familiarity with IEEE/CIGRE activities or industry forums is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a reliable technical point of contact for utility customers, translate their transmission planning and operational challenges into well-scoped LineVision solutions
• Lead scoping studies and profiling analyses, delivering findings that make a clear case for project value
• Build and present technical deliverables for pre-sales engagements, from initial discovery through business case development
• Represent LineVision at industry forums including IEEE and CIGRE; contribute to white papers and technical presentations that establish LineVision as a thought leader in grid intelligence
• Bring structured customer feedback to Product and Engineering teams to inform roadmap priorities
• Travel to customer sites ~25%
