Job summary

Xero is seeking a Solutions Consultant to act as a technical expert and strategic partner to our sales teams and accounting partners. You will own the technical solution strategy for opportunities, translating partner needs into scalable workflows that drive long-term platform adoption and value.

You will help shape partner success across their journey by identifying risks early, guiding product implementations, and delivering demonstrations and advisory sessions to upskill partner teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in pre-sales, technical account management, or solutions engineering within SaaS environments.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, practical guidance for diverse audiences.
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills to diagnose technical roadblocks and map effective workflows.
• Collaborative approach focused on building trusted relationships with internal teams and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Leading technical scoping, workflow mapping, and custom solution design alongside sales teams.
• Supporting partner migrations and technical implementations using cloud accounting and workflow tools.
• Delivering clear product demonstrations and technical consulting sessions to help partners upskill their teams.
• Gathering partner feedback to inform product development and influence future platform capabilities.
