Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a Senior Technical Expert to partner with sales and accounting teams, owning the solution strategy for opportunities and translating needs into scalable workflows. You will lead scoping, design, and migrations while delivering demos and coaching for partner teams.

Ideal candidates bring SaaS pre-sales or solutions engineering experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly across audiences.

Qualifications

• Operational background within an accounting or bookkeeping firm.
• Solid grasp of cloud accounting software ecosystems.
• Proven experience in pre-sales, technical account management, or solutions engineering within SaaS environments.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts as clear, practical guidance for diverse audiences.
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills.
• Ability to diagnose technical roadblocks and recommend effective workflow solutions.

• Must currently reside, or plan to reside within 3 months, in one of Xero's payroll states: Alabama, Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, Nevada, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, or Washington D.C.
• Appropriate working rights for the United States
• Satisfactory completion of relevant background checks, which may include credit and criminal history checks
