Job summary

Motion is seeking a Manager, Solutions Center inSalt Lake City to lead the sales support team and enable strong customer service within the distribution network. Responsibilities include coaching staff, partnering with outside sales, analyzing inventory to boost turns, and aligning efforts to hit sales goals while maintaining safety and quality standards.

This role requires building processes and driving accountability across departments to deliver exceptional service and operations efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 3–5 years related experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to train a team.
• Mechanical/technical aptitude and safety-conscious.
• Industrial sales experience is a plus.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervises, hires, trains, and disciplines the sales support team at the location.
• Assists in servicing customers through product knowledge and service.
• Hires, builds, trains, and evaluates the team; drives accountability.
• Works with outside sales to develop and grow the business.
• Analyzes inventory for opportunities to increase turns and sales.
• Prioritizes tasks, coordinates workflow, and shifts resources to support customers.
• Identifies training needs and coordinates as necessary.
• Sets goals and tracks measures across the team.
• Maintains audit and inventory performance at location.
• Monitors opportunities to improve financial performance and safety.
