Job summary

Genuine Parts Company seeks a Manager for the Solutions Center to lead the sales support team at the Nashville location. You will liaison between customers, our sales force, and distribution, ensuring efficient service and achievement of sales goals.

Responsibilities include hiring and training, coordinating with outside sales, analyzing inventory, and driving performance improvements while maintaining safety and compliance. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a bachelor’s degree and three to five years of related experience or equivalent combination.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to train and effectively build a team.
• Meet deadlines and manage time effectively.
• Industrial sales experience a plus.
• Exemplary work ethic and decision-making ability.
• Knowledge of different hoses and thread configurations a plus.
• Epicore P21 experience.
• Basic hydraulic knowledge a plus.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervises, hires, trains, and disciplines the sales support team with the location.
• Assists in servicing customers through familiarity and knowledge of products.
• Ensures customer service is a focal point of every interaction.
• Hires, builds, trains, and evaluates the team, as well as driving accountability.
• Works closely with the outside sales group to develop and grow the business.
• Works with other managers to share knowledge, identify best practices, and cultivate opportunities to grow.
