Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. seeks a technical manager to coach, grow, and partner with customer-facing Solutions Architects. You will help develop industry-leading AI and cloud-based solutions by enabling and mentoring architects on best practices, solution selling, and how to present architectures of varying size and complexity.

This role spans multiple U.S. locations including Dallas, TX, with travel up to 30%.

Qualifications

10+ years of enterprise IT application work that includes at least 2 years of hands-on software development or DevOps engineering experience.
2+ years of architecting/operating solutions built on any cloud service provider like AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI, etc.
8+ years of technology solutions development and evangelising end-to-end technology roadmaps that guide IT transformations toward cloud computing experience.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Responsibilities

Build and lead a team of Solutions Architects to design AI and cloud-based solutions for diverse customers.
Coach architects on best practices, solution selling, and presenting architectures of varying size and complexity.
Educate customers on AWS value proposition and participate in architectural discussions for successful cloud deployments.
Drive revenue growth in collaboration with sales while mentoring and growing internal talent.
