Job summary

Education Management Solutions, LLC. seeks a collaborative Solutions Architect to support Sales and Engineering, translating complex customer requirements into scalable EMS solutions and ensuring long-term success.

You'll partner with Sales, Engineering, and clients to design, present, and deliver technically sound solutions, respond to RFPs, and guide the proposal process while aligning with business needs and pricing strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• Experience in solutions engineering, systems design, or technical pre-sales.
• Ability to translate complex concepts into client-friendly language.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience with RFPs, technical documentation, and customer requirements.
• Proficiency with MS Office and general business tools.
• Willingness to travel 20–40%.

Responsibilities

• Design solutions: Lead technical discovery and translate customer requirements into scalable EMS solutions.
• Support sales efforts: Partner with Sales to position EMS products and services through technical expertise and solution alignment.
• Engage clients: Build strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and guide solution development.
• Own the technical narrative: Develop and deliver compelling technical presentations, demos, and proposals.
• Drive clarity: Review customer specifications, drawings, and requirements to create detailed Statements of Work.
• Collaborate cross-functionally: Work with Engineering, Product, and Client Support teams to ensure feasibility and success.
• Respond to RFPs: Lead responses to functional and technical requirements in RFPs/RFIs.
• Support deal execution: Assist with proposal development, pricing strategy, and contract alignment.
