The ideal candidate will engage early in the sales process, define feasible architectures, and ensure clear knowledge transfer during the transition from sales to delivery. A strong communicator with deep domain expertise is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in solution engineering or a similar client-facing technical role.
• Experience with healthcare data and technology across health systems, analytics, interoperability, or related environments.
• Strong depth in data, cloud, analytics, integration, or AI architectures.
• Ability to lead or contribute to discovery, requirements gathering, design, or scoping activities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, able to interface with executives and technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead client discovery conversations to understand goals, challenges, and constraints.
• Design tailored solutions and implementation approaches that are technically feasible and realistically scoped.
• Evaluate architecture options, tradeoffs, dependencies, and build-vs-buy decisions.
• Collaborate with sales, technical SMEs, and delivery leaders to bring the right expertise into each opportunity.
• Develop approaches, architectures, estimates, timelines, and proposal content as needed.
• Translate business needs into technical considerations for diverse audiences.
• Provide SME input during conversations, ensuring needed expertise is engaged when appropriate.
