Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated Solutions Architect for the Commercial Midmarket team in Seattle, WA. You will guide Small and Medium Business customers in designing and migrating to AWS, focusing on security, compute, storage, networking, and emerging AI/ML use cases.

You will lead engagements, share best practices, and collaborate with sales and account teams to deliver architectures that meet customer needs while advancing AWS adoption across diverse industries.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• 4+ years in technology domains (software development, cloud, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
• 4+ years IT development or implementation/consulting in software or Internet industries.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key member of the Solutions Architecture team to help ensure customer success in building applications and services on AWS.
• Scope each customer engagement with clear objectives and success criteria.
• Own each engagement and ensure timely, successful delivery of value.
• Capture and share best-practice knowledge among the solution architect community.
• Understand AWS market segments, customer base, and industry verticals.
• Understand and use Salesforce.com and other internal Amazon systems.
