Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated Solutions Architect to accelerate customer adoption within the SMB segment. You will work with Small and Medium Businesses to architect across security, compute, storage, networking, serverless, analytics, and AI/ML to give customers a competitive edge.

You will guide customers, collaborate with account teams, and share best practices while contributing to AWS knowledge sharing and engineering excellence.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in technology domains (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
• 3+ years design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• 10+ years IT development or implementation/consulting in software or Internet industries.
• 5+ years infrastructure architecture and networking experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key member of the Solutions Architecture team to ensure customer success building applications on AWS.
• Scope each engagement with clear objectives and success criteria.
• Own each engagement and ensure timely delivery of value.
• Capture and share best-practice knowledge within the solution architect community.
• Understand AWS market segments, customer base, and industry verticals.
