Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Solutions Architect for SMB Solutions to accelerate customer adoption of the AWS cloud across small and medium businesses. You will lead engagements, design architectures, and share best practices with the AWS solution architect community.

You’ll work with customers across security, compute, storage, networking and AI/ML, influence decisions, and mentor teams. A day blends workshops, technical deep-dives, and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in technology domains (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in software or Internet industries.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key member of the Solutions Architecture team to ensure customer success building on AWS.
• Scope engagements with defined objectives and success criteria.
• Own engagements and help ensure timely delivery of value.
• Capture and share best-practice knowledge within the solution architect community.
• Understand AWS market segments, customer base, and industry verticals.
