Job summary

Servers.com by Nexcess is seeking a Solutions Architect to partner with Sales, Engineering, Product, and customers to design scalable, secure infrastructure solutions that meet business and technical requirements.

As the primary technical advisor during pre-sales, you will lead solution discovery, create architecture diagrams and cost estimates, and help drive winning proposals while traveling to customer sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience designing IT infrastructure across cloud, hybrid, on-premises, and bare-metal environments.
• Ability to translate customer requirements into scalable, cost-effective architectures.
• Proven ability to create architecture diagrams and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead pre-sales discovery sessions and translate requirements into architectural designs.
• Design end-to-end infrastructure solutions across cloud, hybrid, on-prem, and bare-metal.
• Deliver technical presentations, demos, and solution overviews to customers and stakeholders.
• Create cost estimates and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) models for proposals.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Operations to ensure feasible deployments.
• Travel to customer sites as needed and stay current on industry trends.
