Ambyint is seeking a Solutions Engineer/Manager in Houston, TX. You will lead technical demos, design solutions, and run pilots to show measurable results for customers in the energy sector.

This role reports to the Solutions Management team lead and requires strong oilfield and software experience. Based in Houston with hybrid work and 15–25% travel, you’ll interact with sales, product, and customer success teams to translate client needs into scalable AI-driven production optimization

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in Petroleum, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, Computer Science, MIS, or a related field.
• 5+ years of oil & gas experience in artificial lift, primarily rod lift optimization.
• Experience in solutions engineering, sales engineering, production engineering or technical sales, ideally at a B2B software or technology company.
• Working knowledge of oilfield OT and IT, such as SCADA, RTUs/PLCs, rod pump and plunger controllers, historians, Modbus, and cloud or IoT data flows.
• The ability to diagnose technical problems quickly and address objections with credibility.

Responsabilités

• Guide prospects through each stage of the Ambyint sales process with the sales team.
• Prepare and deliver tailored product demos for meetings and events.
• Explain AI-driven lift optimization to engineers and executives.
• Build sales decks, technical collateral and business cases for opportunities.
• Provide technical input on contracts, RFQs and RFPs.
• Gather customer requirements, design technical solutions and define success metrics.
• Plan and run customer pilots, including well selection, KPI tracking and results reporting.
• Help move pilots into full deployments and share insights with product teams.
