Job summary

Fundamental Technologies Inc. is hiring an AI Deployment Strategist in Houston to own the AI strategy for a major account.

You will define multi-year NEXUS use cases, secure executive sponsorship, and coordinate with Solutions Architects, engineers, and leadership to deliver on the roadmap. You will sit with senior leaders to map prediction-driven value in P&L, quantify impact, and expand the deployment across business units and stages.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or related field; MBA or equivalent is a plus
• 5+ years of oil and gas industry experience in strategy consulting (MBB or equivalent) or corporate strategy/ops
• Knowledge of upstream and midstream operations, capital allocation, production/cost forecasting, commodity markets
• Track record of expanding an engagement or account into a broader program
• Executive presence and structured communication: leading senior stakeholder discussions
• Strong commercial/financial acumen: building business cases and navigating procurement
• Technical fluency to engage with ML teams and assess feasibility of use cases
• Existing Houston energy ecosystem network is a strong plus
• Ownership mindset and bias toward action
• Humility and team-oriented collaboration

Responsibilities

• Own the account AI strategy: multi-year NEXUS use-case roadmap across business units
• Drive expansion: qualify new opportunities and secure executive sponsorship
• Build executive relationship map and steer governance
• Quantify and communicate value with KPIs and CFO-friendly language
• Orchestrate delivery with Solutions Architects and engineers
• Structure the account like a portfolio across functions
• Advise and feed Product/Research with market needs
• Codify expansion playbooks for repeatable success
• Travel as needed between Houston, SF, and field sites
