About The Job

The Solution Sales Executive is responsible for direct sales and business development within Life Sciences organizations, leading to profitable revenue growth.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute territory and account growth strategies. Identify and drive sales opportunities for LexisNexis Risk products and services by coordinating cross-functional resources to educate decision makers and influencers, thereby increasing revenue.
  • Meet or exceed revenue and new business objectives.
  • Understand market trends and client needs within the Life Sciences sector, with proven experience in penetrating new customers and expanding within existing accounts.
  • Own account strategy development and opportunity execution, collaborating across teams to identify and develop revenue opportunities.
  • Lead negotiations through the sales cycle to close deals.
  • Ensure smooth transition of responsibilities to Account Management and Implementation teams, maintaining relationships, driving adoption, and identifying additional sales opportunities.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of outside sales experience, including 5+ years selling to life sciences organizations.
  • Domain knowledge in Life Sciences.
  • Understanding of clinical research, real-world data, and drug development and marketing.
  • Proven track record in strategic new business sales, including multi-year deals.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong persuasion and relationship management skills at operational and executive levels.
  • Knowledge of Big Data, Cloud Computing, and Identity Fraud is a plus.
  • Strong organizational, strategic thinking, and forecasting skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple activities with fluctuating deadlines and dependencies.
  • Travel up to 50% required.
