About The Job

The Solution Sales Executive is responsible for direct sales and business development with Life Sciences organizations, leading to profitable revenue growth.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing territory and account growth strategies, identifying and driving sales opportunities for LexisNexis Risk products through cross-functional collaboration to educate decision-makers and grow revenue.
  • Meeting or exceeding revenue and new business objectives.
  • Understanding market trends and client needs within Life Sciences, with proven experience in penetrating new customers and expanding existing accounts.
  • Owning account strategy development and opportunity execution, working cross-functionally to identify revenue opportunities.
  • Leading negotiations through the sales cycle to close deals.
  • Transitioning responsibilities smoothly to Account Management and Implementation teams, maintaining relationships, and driving adoption of LexisNexis Risk services.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of outside sales experience, including 5+ years working with and selling to life sciences organizations.
  • Domain knowledge specific to Life Sciences.
  • Knowledge of clinical research, real-world data, and drug development and marketing.
  • Proven track record in strategic new business sales, including multi-year deals.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong persuasion and relationship management skills at operational and executive levels.
  • Knowledge of Big Data, Cloud Computing, Identity Fraud is a plus.
  • Strong organizational, strategic thinking, and forecasting skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple activities with fluctuating deadlines.
  • Travel up to 50% required.

Salary: Base salary plus variable component with uncapped commissions. Range varies by location, e.g., $130,000-$140,000 USD or up to $274,600 USD in some states.
